Cameron Wheeler, M.D.

Dr. Cameron Wheeler graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA with distinction in Philosophy and as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She went on to medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina where she obtained her doctorate of medicine. During her years at MUSC, she was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and was named first honor graduate and Outstanding Ob/Gyn Medical Student of her class. Shethen traveled to Ohio to complete her OB/Gyn residency at Ohio State University. At graduation, she was honored as the General OB/Gyn Department Chief Resident of the Year by her faculty and peers.

Dr. Wheeler is originally from Boston but moved to the Gulf Coast in 2022 with her husband, Tom, who is a pediatrician at Keesler AFB. They live in Ocean Springs. In her free time, Dr. Wheeler loves to cook, read, travel, and spend time hiking and exploring National Parks around the country. She has special interest in family planning and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including robotics.
